As featured in Tatler magazine June 2010, this reproduction tea towel was originally designed for the esteemed magazine by Mardie Madden in 1959, mapping the Chelsea area of London, proclaiming it ‘the liveliest area in town.’ The sketchy and highly stylised illustration is typical of early sixties design and charts a vibrant area in its heyday.
