Roman Gold Tie
This tie design is inspired by the rare hoard of Roman
coins (likely to be the owner's savings!) found buried in
a safety deposit box beneath the floor of a Roman
residence in the City of London.
The hoard spans a period of over 100 years, from
Emperor Nero (AD65) to Marcus Aurelius (AD 174).
The heads on the coins include the famous emperors
Hadrian, Titus and Marcus Aurelius.
